Created by Emily Mistell at The End in Portland, Thief of Hearts is a fruity riff on a classic Manhattan cocktail. With Scotch at its base, the notes of Pear Liqueur and Apple Brandy shine through, making it the perfect winter drink.

Ingredients

1 oz. 30ml Carlyle 12 Yr Blended Scotch Whisky
1 oz. 30ml Dolin Dry Vermouth
0.5 oz. 15ml Laird's Apple Brandy
0.25 oz. 8ml Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
0.25 oz. 8ml Belle De Brillet Pear Liqueur
barspoon barspoon Honey Syrup
dash dash Regans Orange Bitters
3 drops 3 drops Oban 14 Scotch

Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Stir all of the ingredients (except the peaty scotch) with ice, then strain into a chilled coupe. Float a cucumber slice on top of the drink, and top with 3 drops of the peaty scotch.
