Inspiration to make my cocktail comes from the culture, passion and feeling that is reflected in a bottle of Patrón. Culture of perfecting the tequila with passionate hand involved in the process and the feeling that emerges while drinking Patrón. This inspires me to make a drink, which not only tastes good but gives that aesthetic pleasure a feeling of warmth that urges people to order another one and a drink that is made by 100% blue agave Tequila – Pravin Phuyal – Hot Tamale – Darwin.
In a mixing glass add Patrón Añejo, Martini Bitter, Jalapeno Tincture and saline solution. Add ice over the liquid. Mix all the ingredients for 14 stirs or until perfectly diluted. In a rocks glass add a clear ice cube. Strain the stirred mixture into the rocks glass. Garnish with hibiscus leaf.
Hibiscus Syrup
Warm 1L filtered water to 60-degree Celsius and stir in 800g sugar until it is dissolved. Add 5g of Hibiscus flowers and let it infuse for 48 hours. Using a cheesecloth strain out dried flowers.
Jalapeno Tincture
Chargrill 2-3 jalapeno. Add Grilled Jalapeno in the jar with 150ml Patrón Silver. Leave it to infuse for 48 hours. Using a cheesecloth strain out Jalapenos.
Saline Solution
Mix 40g sea salt with 10ml filtered water
Hibiscus leaf.
