While a Mint Julep can be wonderful on its own, adding a little tartness to the mix can really take this cocktail up a level. The Passionfruit Julep takes the basics of the classic with Bourbon, Mint & Sugar Syrup and adds Passionfruit pulp to truly enliven a lazy, summer afternoon.

Ingredients

1.5 oz. 45ml Bourbon
2 oz. 60ml Passionfruit pulp
0.5 oz. 15ml Sugar Syrup
4-5 4-5 Mint leaves

Instructions

In a Rocks glass, gently muddle the Mint leaves with Simple Syrup and then add Passionfruit pulp. Pack the glass with finely crushed ice. Pour bourbon over ice, and mound more ice into the top of the glass.
