For a completely different take on a Mint Julep you can’t go past the chocolatey goodness of a Thin Mint Julep. Reminiscent of Mint Thin Cookies, this cocktail adds a little Peppermint Schnapps and Creme de Cacao to the traditional Bourbon & Mint.

Ingredients

2 oz. 60ml Bourbon
0.75 oz. 23ml Peppermint Schnapps
0.75 oz. 23ml Creme de Cacao
2-3 2-3 Mint sprigs

Instructions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; add the Peppermint Schnapps, Creme de Cacao and bourbon. Shake until ice cold and pour over more ice in the rimmed glass.

Garnish

Dip the rim of a Cocktail glass into a mixture of Peppermint Schnaps & Creme de Cacao and then coat with a mixture of Cocoa (1 Tbsp) and fine sugar (1 Tbsp) and then add a Mint leaf.
