Strawberry Moonshine Julep

Moonshine, also known as White Whiskey, takes the place of Bourbon in this fruity Julep. Mixing Strawberries, with the crisp flavour of Moonshine, Lemon Juice and Mint is the perfect way to ease into the weekend.

Ingredients

2 2 Strawberries (cut in 1/4)
2 oz. 60ml White Whiskey (Moonshine)
0.25 oz. 8ml Sugar Syrup
0.5 oz. 15ml Lemon Juice
3-4 3-4 Mint leaves

Instructions

Combine cut strawberries, sugar, mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Stir and let stand until strawberries are macerated, up to 10 minutes. Add moonshine, lemon juice, and ice to fill the shaker, and shake vigorously for an additional minute. Pour out contents into an ice filled glass.
