Created in 2015 by Scott Burgess at Some Place in Liverpool (UK), Le Chateau has a distinctly European vibe. Served straight up,  this cocktail uses Cognac as the base, adding herbal Benedictine and bittersweet Aperol as the supporting liqueurs.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Cognac
  • 0.67 oz. 20ml Aperol
  • 0.67 oz. 20ml Benedictine
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Stir all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass, then strain into a chilled glass.

Garnish

Grapefruit zest
