If you want to elevate and balance the flavours in a Tequila Negroni riff, then just add saline. With the San Diago bartender, Eric Gigers’ has created the Jalisco Stroll that uses the usual Blanco Tequila, Dry Vermouth & Campari mix in equal measure but added a few drops of concentrated saline to change the game completely.
Stir all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass, then strain into a rocks glass over ice
Saline solution: Combine 4 oz. of room-temperature water with 1 oz. of kosher salt and stir to dissolve.
