Horse's Neck

Main Spirit Brandy
Difficulty Easy
Technique Built

Noël Coward’s riff on the Horse’s Neck is a classic Prohibition-era cocktail that appears in his 1951 play, Relative Values. More to the point though he touts it as the ultimate hangover cure – the Angostura Bitters and Ginger Ale will settle the stomach, the aspirin will clear your head and the Brandy is there to soothe your soul.

  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Brandy
  • 3 dash 3 dash Angostura Bitters
  • top top Ginger Ale
