While its name may be a pun on the classic Absinthe cocktail Death In The Afternoon, Death By Morning is very much an Espresso Martini riff. Created by Dzu Nguyen at Horsefeather in San Francisco, this drink exudes notes of grassy fennel, mint, and menthol, making it an elegant and versatile riff on the classic.
Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, then strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass
Express oil from an Orange twist and harnish with a sprig of Mint
