Created in 1950 by Giovanni Raimondo at the Excelsior Hotel in Rome, this Negroni riff is a drier and more complex cocktail that swaps Campari for the slightly spicy Contratto Bitter and sweet vermouth for dry.
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain over ice into a chilled rocks glass.
