As you might assume from the name, the Black Manhattan is a riff on the classic Manhattan cocktail. In this version, the Bourbon remains, as does the Angostura Bitters and Orange Bitters, but the usual Dry Vermouth is swapped out for the darker Averna.
Stir all ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass
