Technique Dry Shake

The name Blushing Monk, of course, refers to the inclusion of Benedictine in this aromatic bittersweet sour. Added to that is Aperol, Lillet for a little brightness, Suze to offset the sweetness, and Lime Juice to add a bit of zing.

Ingredients

  • 0.67 oz. 20ml Benedictine
  • 0.67 oz. 20ml Aperol
  • 0.42 oz. 13ml Suze
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Lillet. Blanc
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Egg White
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Shake all ingredients with. ice and then strain back into the shaker. Dry shake and fine strain into a cocktail glass.

Garnish

A line of Angostura Bitters. across the middle of the foam
