Created by Harrison Ginsberg while he was at The Dead Rabbit NYC, True Blue puts a different spin on an Irish Whiskey cocktail, by adding complexity through ingredients like Pedro Ximénez sherry and white miso cane syrup.


  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Tullamore DEW 12-year-old Irish Whiskey
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Clear Creek eight-year-old Apple Brandy
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Guinness draught
  • 0.25 oz. 8ml Barbadillo Pedro Ximénez sherry
  • 0.75 oz. 23ml Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz. 23ml White Miso cane syrup
  • tsp tsp Ginger Syrup
  • 2 dash 2 dash Peychaud's Bitters
Display: oz. ml.




Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, then strain into a chilled coupe glass


Grated Nutmeg

White miso cane syrup: Place 16 ounces water and 2 tablespoons white miso paste in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until the paste is dissolved. Add 4 cups cane sugar, and increase the heat to high, bringing to a boil and stirring occasionally. Allow to cool & store in the fridge
