An easy equal parts cocktail, the Spicy Dead Lady intertwines smoky Mezcal, and bittersweet Aperol. The drink is rounded off with the soft, tropical spices of Falernum and the tang of a little Lime but finishes with the heat of Hellfire Bitters.
Shake all ingredients together in a shaker tin with ice. Strain into a Coupe glass
If you can’t get Hellfire Bitters, a thin slice of fresh habanero pepper added to the shaker tin will also add a small amount of heat
