My love of Margaritas and delicate aperitifs inspired my creation for this year’s Patrón Perfectionist. The balance of Jasmine and Mandarin allows for the quality and naturally occurring notes of Patron Silver to shine through – Corina Retter – Capitano – Melbourne
Place a slice of mandarin orange skin and a pinch of sea salt into a shaker. Add 20ml lime juice, 10ml Mandarin Orange juice, 15 ml Jasmine and Green tea simple syrup and 45 ml Patrón Silver tequila. Shake on cubed ice and strain to serve.
Jasmine Green Tea Syrup
15g of Jasmine tea flowers
500ml of 75 degree water
300g of caster sugar
Add tea to the warmed water, let steep for 7 minutes. strain off the tea leaves and add sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar crystals.
