A riff on the classic Rusty Nail, the Rusty Ringo, created at Bar Goto in New York, uses Calvados as a base but dials back the Scotch and finishes with a nice touch of Drambuie.
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir for 60 rotations. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
