Pétanque may be a French game (similar to Boules) but the Amaretto in this drink is Italian and the Fino Sherry is Spanish. Go figure … To add a little more geographical confusion, the drink was created by an American, Andrew Bohrer from Mistral Kitchen in Seattle.
Stir first three ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass.Then carefully float hold a teaspoon of Absinth on the surface of the drink.
