Printed in 2009 in the book Sips & Apps by Kathy Casey, this version of the Montréal cocktail uses Rye, Sweet Vermouth, Pernod Anise and Peychaud’s Bitters for a sweet rye manhattan with French Creole influence.


  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Whiskey, Rye
  • 0.75 oz. 23ml Sweet Vermouth
  • 0.169 oz. 5ml Pernod Anise
  • 3 dash 3 dash Peychaud's Bitters
Display: oz. ml.


Stir all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled glass
