Boozy and complex, Home On The Range first appeared in the 1941 book Crosby Gaige’s Cocktail Guide & Ladies’ Companion. With Rye, Dubonnet, Cointreau & Angostura, this drink has the delicate combination of fruit, spice and bitterness.


  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Whiskey, Rye
  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Dubonnet
  • 0.169 oz. 5ml Cointreau
  • dash dash Angostura Bitters
Display: oz. ml.


Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass

This cocktail was a favourite of the late Sasha Petraske (although he used Bourbon instead of Rye and Sweet Vermouth. instead of Dubonnet.
