The Dandy Lion can only be described as a grown-up riff on a classic G&T. With muddled Cucumber, Absinthe and a little Lemon Juice, all added to the expected Gin & chilled Tonic Water, this is a riff with a little more sophistication.


  • 3 slices 3 slices Cucumber
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Absinthe
  • 2 oz. 60ml Gin
  • 0.75 oz. 23ml Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz. 23ml Simple Syrup
  • 4 oz. 120ml Tonic Water
Display: oz. ml.




In a cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber, then add Absinthe and let sit for about 30 seconds. Add ice, then the Gin, Lemon Juice, and Simple Syrup, and shake vigorously. Strain into a Collins glass and top with tonic
