Caprese Martini

Inspired by a Caprese Salad, the Caprese Martini was created by the bar team at Jac’s on Bond in NYC and is the perfect savoury cocktail for those who love a dirty Martini. Taking two years to perfect, the drink mixes infused-Vodka (with olive oil, tomatoes, basil), Dry Vermouth, Balsamic and a little Salt

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. 60ml Infused Vodka
  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Blanco Vermouth
  • 2 dash 2 dash Balsamic Vinegar
  • pinch pinch Salt
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a chilled glass

Garnish

Skewered Cherry Tomato

Infused Vodka – Combine the 16oz Vodka, 1 medium Tomato, and 2 Basil leaves in a large jar. Freeze for 24 hours. Strain vodka through a fine-mesh strainer and return to the jar. Add 4 oz extra-virgin Olive Oil, shake well, and freeze for 12 hours. After 12 hours, the oil will freeze in one hard layer on the top, remove the oil layer before using. Store in fridge and use within 3-5 days.
