A bit of a riff on the classic Brandy Metropolitan, the Capetonian embraces the best of the Mother City. With a mix of one of the Cape’s finest Brandy’s (Joseph Barry VSOP), Caperitif (a local Dry Vermouth), Angostura Bitters, as well as a local Fynbos Bitters (Naartjie Spice Bitters which can be subbed for Orange Bitters)

Ingredients

  • 1.25 oz. 38ml Brandy VSOP
  • 0.84 oz. 25ml Dry Vermouth
  • 2 dash 2 dash Naartjie Spice Bitters
  • 1 dash 1 dash Angostura Bitters
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Stir all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Frozen Grapes & an Orange twist
