The Black Ships were the name given to the naval vessels commanded by Commodore Matthew Perry, whose arrival, in 1853, forced an end to Japanese isolation. It is also the name of our Japanese Whisky Cocktail that also includes Pomegranate Juice, Port & a little Lemon Juice.
Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a chilled Martini glass.
