Created at the turn of the last century, the Absinthe Suissesse has become a New Orleans staple. If you’re after the perfect summertime brunch cocktail, then mix Absinthe, White Creme de Menthe, a little Orgeat, Orange Flower Water, Egg White, and Single (or Light) Cream.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. 45ml Absinthe
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Creme de Menthe (White)
  • 0.33 oz. 10ml Orgeat
  • barspoon barspoon Orange Flower Water
  • 1 oz. 30ml Egg White
  • 1 oz. 30ml Single Cream (Light Cream)
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Strain back into the shaker and dry shake, before straining into a glass with crushed ice.
