If the sight of green beer gets your Irish up, then why not spend St Patrick’s Day with a much more sophisicated tipple.
Teeling Irish Whiskey would like to suggest that you make yourself an The Irish Maid, a drink that is not only refreshingly simple to make but also fresh and juicy in its own right.
Created by Jack McGarry at The Dead Rabbit in New York, the Irish Maid is an Irish Whiskey-based riff on Sam Ross’ Kentucky Maid. As well as the Irish whiskey, the drink shakes up St Germain, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and muddled cucumber.
And with the luck of the Irish we were able to connect with Teeling’s own Irish maid, the wonderful Ciarrai Kelly, to show us how it’s done.
