When you get a mix of Bourbon, Coconut Liqueur, Grape Juice, toasted Coconut Syrup, Lemon Juice and black food jell together, for a drink that is carbonated for a tropical soda feel, then you know some sort of shape-shifting Trickster must be involved.
Build all ingredients, then carbonate and serve
For carbonation – if you are making this at home, the easiest way to carbonate the drink is to get the mixed drink as cold as possible before funnelling it into a siphon or whipper. (if using a siphon, remove the tube from the seal ring when closing the top and always adhere to the maximum fill volume). Charge the siphon with a carbon dioxide bulb. Shake, then store in the fridge for a minimum of two hours (longer if possible). With the canister upright, slowly release the pressure by pressing the lever down (a little at a time over half an hour, storing in the fridge between each release, once there is little pressure left, carefully open the top and serve.
If possible serve in a glass skull with edible flowers
