Named after the press slogan which allegedly provoked the 1898 Spanish-American War, the cocktail Remember The Maine is a twist on a Sazerac. This Rye cocktail is given a subtle sweetness with Cherry Liqueur and a hint of savagery from a dash of good Absinthe.
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with cracked ice, then stir well for 20-30 seconds and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
