Greenbriar

Main Ingredient Sherry - Oloroso

Named after the famous hotel in West Virginia, the Greenbriar was first recorded in Harry McElhone’s 1927 Barflies and Cocktails. In that recording and most others, the type of Sherry wasn’t actually listed, so through the skill of Simon Difford Oloroso Sherry was decided upon and then added to the Dry Vermouth and Peach Bitters.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. 60ml Oloroso Sherry
  • 1 oz. 30ml Dry Vermouth
  • 1 dash 1 dash Peach Bitters
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Shake all ingredients. with ice and fine strain to a chilled glass
