You’ve got to love a world where there’s a Daiquiri for every occasion. A blender cocktail, the Eggnog Daiquiri was created at Manolito in New Orleans and offers a lighter and brighter alternative to traditional Eggnog.
Add Eggnog and Sugar, as well as 1 1/4 cups crushed ice, to a blender and, while it’s running, pour in the rum.
Grated nutmeg
Eggnog – Separate the yolks from the whites of 6 eggs, Add the yolks to a large bowl with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, and beat until the sugar dissolves. Add 2 cups of whole milk and 1 cup of heavy cream, then beat until combined. Repeat with the egg whites. Season to taste with freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon.
