Damn Fine Coffee Martini

Considering how tedious most Espresso Martini riffs have become, it’s unusual to approach it from a culinary standpoint, but that is what Jordan Bearss from Cane & Table in New Orleans has done with the Damn Fine Coffee Martini. He uses coffee to highlight the cocoa undertones of Fernet, orgeat to add a nutty sweetness, and spiced rum and Grand Marnier to balance out the bitterness. 

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. 30ml Spiced Rum
  • 1 oz. 30ml Cold-Brew Concentrate
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Fernet Branca
  • 0.5 oz. 15ml Grand Mariner
  • 0.25 oz. 8ml Orgeat
Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, then strain into a chilled coupe
