Considering how tedious most Espresso Martini riffs have become, it’s unusual to approach it from a culinary standpoint, but that is what Jordan Bearss from Cane & Table in New Orleans has done with the Damn Fine Coffee Martini. He uses coffee to highlight the cocoa undertones of Fernet, orgeat to add a nutty sweetness, and spiced rum and Grand Marnier to balance out the bitterness.
