There is something undeniably refreshing about a Cognac Julep. With a mass of crushed ice, Cognac, Sugar Syrup and Mint, it is only a slight variation to a Mint Julep but well worth the deviation. We’ve used Martial Cordon Bleu for this recipe as it’s mellow fruit and spice finish adds a certain flair.
Shake all ingredients with ice then fine strain into a Julep Cup half filled with crushed ice. Use a bar spoon to churn the drink into the ice. Top with more ice and churn again, until the drink fills the cup
