Created around the mid-1880s, in honour of the Broadway musical of the same name, the Adonis is one of America’s true classic cocktails. Although this recipes uses the Sweet vermouth and orange Bitters from the original, it replaces the Fino Sherry with Oloroso Sherry and adds a little Sugar Syrup.
Stir all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass and then strain into a chilled glass
