As it is Bees Knees Week, we thought it was the ideal time to indulge in a somewhat fancy riff on the original.
The drink, called the Cat’s Meow, has been created in a collaboration between LaShana Daniels from Do It For The Cocktail Culture & @karasrumquest, and is based on the dynamic and unparalleled beauty that was Eartha Kitt
If you’re not old enough to remember when Eartha Kitt first sang Santa Baby, then Daniels not only wants to school you on the woman but also teach you to make the cocktail inspired by her.
Using Rum, Lime Juice, Honey Syrup, Angostura Bitters and a float of Champagne, the drink is a balanced mix between refreshing and bubbly.
