Everybody loves a comeback story and that goes for bars as much as anything else.
After 30 years, Angel’s Share was very much a New York institution but sadly, closed in March. But now the bar is back, as an extended pop-up within the Eventi Hotel in New York. To celebrate the bar’s resurrection, we join Tsunetaka Imada as he makes his new cocktail Bluebells.
A hunting-inspired cocktail, the Bluebell mixes Lapsang-infused Scotch, Blueberry Syrup, Smoky Scotch, Peychaud’s Bitters and Umami Bitters.
Bellbells
Ingredients
1.5oz (45mls) Lapsang-infused Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
0.5oz (15mls) Blueberry Syrup
0.33oz (10mls) Smoky Scotch
2 dash Peychaud’s Bitters
5 dash Umami Bitters
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and then strain into an ice-filled rocks glass
