If you are after a perfect collaboration, then it doesn’t get much better than a new Whiskey-spiked ice cream from Whistle Pig and Ben & Jerry’s.
The Vermont natives have joined forces to create a new ice cream flavor called Whiskey Biz, which is not only a little ‘over the top’ but also incredibly decadent in flavour.
With chunks of blonde brownies, topped with white chocolate ganache and fudge pieces, on a brown butter bourbon base, the ice cream also has WhistlePig’s award-winning PiggyBack Rye cooked into caramel swirls throughout.
The whiskey ice cream is one of seven new flavors in B&J’s new “Topped” line. As the moniker implies, all of the ice creams are topped with a semi-soft layer of ganache. The six remaining flavors run the gamut, from Chocolate Caramel Cookie Dough and PB Over the Top to Thick Mint and Tiramisu.
In a statement on Instagram, WhistlePig said: “We’re lucky to have incredibly innovative neighbors like Ben & Jerry’s who love to collaborate as much as we do.”
The WhistlePig pint is available now throughout the US. And of course, the dark chocolate, ginger, and spice flavoured PiggyBack Rye is available through the WhistlePig website.
