Hennessy X.O is getting ready to rings in the Year Of The Ox with the assistance of actor Henry Golding and American restauranteur Eddie Huang.

Centered around themes of hope and resilience, Hennessy’s X.O OX Lunar New Year Celebration is inspired by the tasting notes of X.O, and will feature captivating performances from renowned musicians, culinary luminaries, and dynamic artists to support Asian, Black and Latinx small businesses impacted by the pandemic.

Set to go live on Thursday, February 18th at 9pm EST at Facebook.com/Hennessy, the event will spotlight influential icons and entrepreneurs in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community who embody the resilient drive of the ox in their pursuit of greatness.

In the spirit of resiliency, Hennessy has pledged an additional $250,000 to support small businesses impacted by the pandemic as part of the brand’s Unfinished Business initiative. With over $5 million in funds already distributed, the long-term program was developed in partnership with the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC), among other community organizations, to provide financial and educational resources to Asian, Black and Latinx-owned small businesses.

“With our annual Lunar New Year event, Hennessy hopes to inspire a sense of optimism as we welcome new beginnings in the year ahead,” said Jasmin Allen, Senior Vice President, Hennessy US. “The ox symbolizes strength, diligence and perseverance, and we invite viewers to join us in support of those struggling small businesses who continue to demonstrate these same tenets.”

Hennessy has also collaborated with renowned Chinese artist Liu Wei on a Lunar New Year limited release, featuring the abstract artwork, “SPRING,” the special Hennessy Collection captures the spirit of hope and togetherness, serving as a sensorial invitation to experience the season of rebirth through a kaleidoscopic interpretation of beauty within a world of possibility. ST-GERMAIN & SOPHIE TURNER CELEBRATE THE ST-GERMAIN HUGO SPRITZ

French liqueur brand St-Germain has collaborated with actress Sophie Turner to inspire people with the St-Germain Hugo Spritz and urge them to ‘Spritz Up Your Summer’.

Serving as Turner’s co-star as she searches for her ‘perfect match’ in the South of France, the campaign describes the Hugo Spritz as the perfect cocktail to enjoy when you are after a brighter and lighter taste. 

“I am thrilled to collaborate with the St-Germain team to help inspire people to spritz up their summer,” said Sophie Turner. “St-Germain Hugo Spritz – is certainly my go-to cocktail this season”.

Exploding in popularity over the last few years, the Hugo Spritz is made with St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Prosecco, and Soda Water, then garnished with a mint sprig and lime wedge.

“Sophie was the obvious choice for this campaign, as her refreshing charm and style embodies the sweeter, brighter and lighter taste of the St-Germain Hugo Spritz,” explained Emma Fox, Global Vice President of St-Germain.

GREY GOOSE ENLISTS IDRIS ELBA WITH LAUNCH OF ALTIUS

Global Vodka brand Grey Goose has collaborated with Idris Elba and his latest track, the summer anthem ‘Pushing On’, to celebrate the launch of the brand’s Altius expression.  

The epic release follows the exclusive Grey Goose Altius launch party in Ibiza earlier this summer, which saw Elba DJ to a star-studded array of attendees in a private villa on one of the island’s highest peaks. The track now forms the soundtrack to parties across Europe this summer alongside Grey Goose Altius.

The Spy Bar at Raffles London has launched an exclusive tasting experience, allowing Bond Enthusiasts to sample The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release in the very rooms and corridors where MI5 and MI6 were founded.

The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release is a unique single malt created by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell to capture the character of Bond – a single malt with extreme grace balanced by remarkable strength and depth. The expression is presented in six individual packaging designs – one for each decade of the film franchise.

Bar Manager Sotirios Konomi and his team at The Spy Bar have artfully reimagined the collection, creating a menu of bespoke cocktails and canapes, each inspired by innovations of the past six decades.

Beginning in decade one with a poached scallop quenelle served with sauce Nantua, guests will then enjoy four miniature Bond-inspired cocktails featuring The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old. The journey concludes in decade six with a neat serve of The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release paired alongside a smoky Madong chocolate with roasted cocoa bean.

The Spy Bar is the only bar in the UK to display the entire Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release collection, presented in the limited-edition Globe-Trotter case.

The six limited-edition bottles feature original illustrations from the film archives to showcase the creative process behind some of Bond’s most iconic moments throughout the six decades.

The perfect rendezvous location for any dedicated Bond fan, the Spy Bar is a reservation-only bar located in a hidden subterranean location within The Old War Office (OWO).

To reach the bar, visitors venture through underground corridors featuring structural reinforcement beams added during WW2 and past the rooms which were once used for debriefing spies.

Originally numbered 006 and 007, the rooms where The Spy Bar is now located formerly functioned as high-security storage vaults for falsified identity papers and mission reports of MI5 and MI6 agents.

Guests are transported through time, greeted by vintage furnishings and antique telephones reminiscent of its past life, before emerging into the plush, Bordeaux-red interiors illuminated by subtle, atmospheric lighting.

LILLET RELEASES A LABEL COLLABORATION WITH EMILY IN PARIS

The French aperitif brand Lillet has collaborated with Netflix to release two limited-edition bottle designs to mark the release of the fourth season of the romantic comedy-drama series Emily In Paris.

Inspired by a love for France and fashion, the labels of the Blanc and Rosé expressions incorporate whimsical illustrations inspired by the golden era of French couture in looks that evoke the très chic nature of the Lillet woman.

The Lillet Blanc displays the chic style of ‘Emily by day’, while the Lillet Rose embodies a feminine ‘Emily by night’ aura.

ABSOLUT LAUNCHES ANDY WARHOL BOTTLE AFTER REDISCOVERING BLUE PAINTING

Global Vodka brand Absolut has released a limited-edition Andy Warhol bottle inspired by and in celebration of the rediscovery of Warhol’s Absolut Blue painting.

Launched in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the new bottle revitalizes the 40-year-old partnership, emphasizing the transformative power of creativity through art.

For decades, a second Absolut Warhol painting had been rumoured to exist until Absolut ‘Blue’ was rediscovered at auction in 2020. The original contract was unearthed to prove its source, confirming that two paintings had indeed been commissioned.

Now part of the Absolut Art Collection, the painting will be unveiled at Stockholm’s Spritmuseum in October as the centrepiece of a new exhibition called “Andy Warhol, Money On The Wall.”

“As a brand with a longstanding commitment to the arts, dating back to 1985 when we first worked with Andy Warhol on the iconic ‘Absolut Warhol,’ Absolut is thrilled to debut the limited-edition Absolut Warhol Blue bottle,” said Matt Foley, VP of Marketing, Absolut.

“Warhol was a big supporter of Absolut’s mission, and now that the ‘blue’ painting has finally been rediscovered, we’re excited to honor his legacy with this new bottle as a way for consumers to have a piece of his art in their homes.”

This limited-edition bottle has a visually artistic and layered aesthetic due to the multi-layered screen-printed design. The bottle combines both internal and external design components, bringing Warhol’s rediscovered Absolut ‘blue’ painting from 1985 to life by the magnification of Absolut outlined within.

Each shade of blue has been carefully extracted from the painting, delivering a striking likeness to the original and a stunning finish through the lens of Absolut. The final details include an image of Warhol himself alongside his original signature.

The specially curated cocktail that marks the collaboration is inspired by Warhol’s infamous sweet tooth and his passion for cornflakes. Absolut Warhol’s Milk Punch – a blend of Absolut Vodka and cocoa butter, smooth banana liqueur, zesty lemon juice and cornflake-infused milk – goes beyond the classics to create a deliciously unique taste experience. Consumers can access an immersive behind-the-scenes experience that includes, among other things, a masterclass on how to make the new signature cocktail via an easily scannable QR code on the side of the bottle.

The Absolut Warhol limited-edition bottle will be available in US markets this September 2024. Additionally, watch a short film depicting how the rediscovered painting transcends the cultural legacy of Absolut and Warhol.
