UK mixer company Franklin & Sons has teamed up with the Boom Battle Bar venues in the UK to celebrate International Tequila Day.
With the rising interest in the Paloma in the UK, the brands are looking to give away £30,000 of free Palomas on the weekend after International Tequila Day, on the 27th and 28th of July.
Boom Battle Bar is looking to give away 2,600 Palomas across all its 25 venues in locations including London, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and Manchester, while Franklin and Sons has 700 Paloma cocktail boxes available that can be delivered to your door, using this form https://franklinandsons.co.uk/news/international-tequila-day
“The Paloma is often viewed as the most popular cocktail in Mexico, and is now a hugely popular UK summer serve, owing to its refreshing balance of sweetness and citrus,” said Tom Singleton, Business Director at Franklin & Sons.
“The Paloma is also easy to make at home using just four ingredients – the ideal go-to for a relaxed, hot summer’s day.”
Franklin & Sons, creators of mixers since 1886, and makers of the Pink Grapefruit Soda featured in the Paloma, have included a recipe for the drink where the lime juice gives it a sharp taste which is balanced by the Agave and Pink Grapefruit Soda, to create a delicious, citrusy and refreshingly good drink, perfect for a hot summer’s day.
