If you’ve been looking for a Negroni with more of a summer twist, the Isla might be your new favourite summer sipper.
Created by Elvis Rosario at New York’s Chica & The Don, the Isla has just a touch of smokiness from Mezcal, less bitterness through the use of Aperol, a little dryness from the Vermouth and a bit of a tropical feel with El Guapo Bitters and organic Coconut water.
Super simple to recreate at home, the Isla is great if you want a lighter Negroni twist or a way to ease a novice into the Negroni flavours.
