If the very idea of Friday the 13th slightly terrifies you, then Sagamore’s Straight Rye Whiskey is here to tell you that it’s all going to be OK and hand you a cocktail.
Now it’s insane to think that a good drink will change your luck but seriously, the way this year has been running, it certainly won’t hurt. And let’s face it, a chance to explore America’s first spirit, never goes astray.
And Sagamore is fairly serious about changing your attitude to this ill-fated day. In its fifth year, their campaign is not only aimed to inspire a global passion for Rye Whiskey but also change your perception of the day itself.
Rebranding the day as Ryeday the 13th, the brand wants you to not only embrace Rye but in particular Maryland Rye Whiskey.
As the brand itself launched on Friday the 13th, they have embraced every Friday the 13th and turned them into Ryeday the 13th. And. Honestly isn’t it better to banish the bad luck and replace it with Whiskey?
The distillery wants everyone to turn their luck around and celebrate the day with a few choice Rye cocktails – below are a three we think are particularly tasty.
