Some say there is no better way to understand a city than to drink like a local.

So when it comes to Lecce Cocktail Week, sitting on the cobbled streets and drinking a riff on a Spritz is the perfect way to understand this Southern Italian city.

To understand how to make it, we caught up with Mauro Lorusso from Quanto Basta as he makes the bars Spritz riff, the Piccola Ketty.

Utilising Select Aperitivo, Gin, Abbott’s Botters and Pink Grapefruit Soda, this drink is not only easy to recreate at home, but also refreshingly bitter.
