There is no better place to celebrate World Gin Day than at the New York bar Valerie which has the largest gin library in the city.
As the United States enters its gin renaissance, the bar’s Beverage Manager, Marshall Vincent, takes us through the making of the spring Sazerac-style cocktail, Enough Rope.
With Gin, Lillet Blanc, Strega Liqueur, Strawberry/Rhubarb Shrub, Rhubarb Bitters and an Absinthe wash, the drink has a complex, full-bodied mouthfeel with Juniper and Strawberry/Rhubarb flavours on the palette.
With special thanks to Marshall Vincent & Valerie New York
