Marigold Margarita with Pete Tognetti & Tamayo Denver

As Dia De Los Muertos approaches, we catch up with Pete Tognetti at Tamayo in Denver and he shows us how to make a Marigold Margarita

By: Tiff Christie|October 28,2021

Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration – a celebration of life as much as it is a celebration of death.

And one of its most recognisable symbols is the marigold, a flower that is believed to guide the spirits of the dead with its vibrant colours and pungent scent.

We join Pete Tognetti, head bartender at Tamayo in Denver as he demonstrates one of the best ways to bring a marigold into your glass with a Marigold Margarita.

Incorporating Reposado Tequila, Lime Juice, Marigold Simple Syrup & Tonic Water, this drink offers a floral, citrus flavour.
