Sitting by the azure blue water of a pool in summer can really only be made better by having an electric orange cocktail in your hand. But if you’re looking for that touch of bright orange, sunshine-refracting cocktail and you don’t want an Aperol spritz than Tanqueray may just have the solution.
The brand in their infinite gin-based wisdom has just released a ready-to-drink version of their Flor de Sevilla gin with soda. Expertly crafted, perfectly mixed and ready to be served, savoured and enjoyed, these little premium RTDs gearing up to be one of the hottest drink trends of the season.
Inspired by an original Charles Tanqueray recipe, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is a unique distilled gin made with bittersweet Seville oranges and orange blossom. Over 180 years after Tanqueray first penned the recipe, his innovative and entrepreneurial spirit has inspired the creation of Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla & Soda which balances that uniquely bittersweet zestiness with premium crafted soda.
With a taste that resembles stepping into the sun-kissed Mediterranean, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla utilises orange blossom, juniper, coriander, angelica and liquorice, as well as its namesake, the Spanish Saville Oranges. It is citrus forward gin that is bright noit syrupy.
Best enjoyed over ice and served with a wedge of orange, Combines Tanqueray Flor De Sevilla Distilled Gin with our premium, crafted tonic & other flavourings, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Distilled Gin & Tonic – a moment of luxury for any occasion.
Linda Wellington, Diageo Marketing Manager Gin & Light Spirits, said: “The gin category continues to grow rapidly, and consumers are now better educated and more demanding.
When we launched Tanqueray Gin & Tonic in Australia last year, we underestimated just how popular it would become.”
“It’s interesting to observe how consumers’ shifting behaviours are shaping their desires, as more look for ways to enhance at-home occasions or moments to unwind. Tanqueray is the ideal choice to make those moments feel special.
“We’re excited to add Tanqueray’s Flor de Sevilla expression to the simplicity and convenience of a ready-to-drink format, especially as we move into the warmer spring months,” Wellington continued.
The Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Gin & Soda joins Tanqueray’s premixed G&T, which also hit the market earlier this month. Each four-pack is priced at $25.99 and available to buy from bottle stores nationwide.
