Archie Rose Releases Virgin Cane Rhum

Back in 2016, Sydney distillery, Archie Rose started playing with Rum. Using sustainably grown sugar cane from Condong in northern NSW, this was the first Rum to be distilled in Sydney in decades. With the use of a specialist yeast strain and triple distilling, Master Distiller Dave Withers has produced a characterful and rich rum that expresses notes of chervil, olives, marshmallow and fresh earth, now released at a cask strength of 56.8% ABV.

Conor McGregor’s Irish whiskey Launches In Australia

Irish boxer Conor McGregor has just released his Proper No. 12 Whiskey in Australia. The blending of sweet Irish grain spirit and single malt Irish whiskey lies at the heart of Proper No. Twelve. The triple distilled Irish Whiskey is then slowly aged to reveal a rich complexity of flavours with hints of vanilla, honey and toasted wood for a rich complexity. The brand name pays homage to McGregor’s neighbourhood of Crumlin, Dublin 12.
